FAQ
What is pre-workout for? Should I be taking it?
- Pre-workout is used to increase your workout/exercise intensity. You will experience less fatigue, more explosiveness, and more focus with Ragnarok. We have specifically formulated Ragnarok so that it can have a variety of uses. It is not another high-stim pre designed only for hitting the weight room. Take it before your tee time, gaming session, basketball game, etc. Follow dosage recommendations for less intense activities of half a scoop.
I’m nervous about my caffeine intake.
- We only have 200mg of caffeine. For comparison, a cup of coffee is about 95mg and many of our competitors use a minimum of 300mg of caffeine. We found that 200mg is the sweet spot to give you the necessary jolt for your activity while also not causing any complications with sleep, especially as it is paired with L-Theanine to help cause no crash.
What does Ragnarok taste like?
- We worked hard on making sure that this flavor was great. We wanted something that tasted good, not overwhelmingly sweet and something you won’t get sick of after one tub. We think we nailed it and so far everyone loves the flavor. The closest comparisons to the flavor are Captain Crunchberries or Strawberry Nesquik. (We are not affiliated with either brand; the comparisons are from customer feedback). Additionally, we use sucralose for sweetening and beet root powder for color.
- This is also the main reason we have only one flavor, we worked to make sure it was right and would much rather deliver a product we have mastered than try our hand at having several mediocre flavors.
What are the benefits of Lion’s Mane?
- Lion’s Mane is a mushroom which has many cognitive benefits. There are several studies which document improved speed of performance and reduce subjective stress in healthy, young adults, especially after consistent use over 28 days. There has also been a study on patients with Alzheimer’s performing better on mental tests when using Lion’s Mane for a month versus those that do not. Our own customers have reported feeling much more ‘locked in’ and that feeling becomes more prominent over consistent use.
